JIS10K Ductile Iron Foot Valve

Foot valve is a kind of energy-saving valve, usually installed at the bottom of pump suction pipe, to prevent medium in the pipe flow back to water source. There are many inlet holes and reinforcing ribs in the valve cover, so the pipe will not be easily clogged up. 
Foot valve consists of bonnet, disc, bush, seal-ring, etc. Water enter into the valve body through bonnet. Under the influence of flow pressure, disc will be opened. When stop, pressure in the outlet pipe will close the disc instantly, water will not flow back to water source. It effects the functions of smooth pumping and saves water loss.
