Lead Free Forged Brass Thread Ball Valve has a lever handle and blowout-proof stem design. With threaded connections on both ends, hollow ball for lighter weight and longer seat life. The ball Valve includes a full port for maximum flow and minimum pressure drops. Each valve has a full forged brass body that provides excellent corrosion resistance. The valve is designed for residential and commercial use on water air, steam, oil or gas.

Installation for Threaded End Valves

Pipe connections to be threaded into these valves should be clean and free o foreign material or metal shavings. PTFE pipe tape is recommended for use as the pipe joint sealant. Two wrenches must be used when making up pipe joints to these valves. Apply one wrench on the valve body joint. Typical wrench make-up is 1-1/2" turns after installing the pipe hand-tight.
